Born in Thousand Oaks California, raised primarily in NY’s 518, Oddsmokee is a Singer/Writer/Rapper/Pianist/Graphic Designer/VideoDirector, Producer & Audio Engineer. He found music in 2019 as a way to escape a dark road of criminal charges through drug dealing, as well as addiction. Oddsmokee would like to be known as genre-less, blending a wide variety of sounds such as Rock, Rap/Hip Hop, Pop, Emo Trap, and Country. In 2020 he met his manager who introduced him to 518 Producer and EDM artist Spencer Moran, (Suspenseful Recordings). He was introduced to Entrepreneur and Investor Richard Gordon shortly after and joined Augmented Collective, a Lifestyle and Entertainment company created by Rich G. Oddsmokee shares his past struggles with drugs, peer pressure, as well as anxiety through relatable yet unique art. Oddsmokee wants you to know it's okay to be different and follow your own path, what some may call ODD is what makes us who WE are - and that is something to celebrate.
Hailing from upstate New York and located for more than a decade in NYC, Rich G is a New Yorker through and through. While gritty boombap is his passion, Rich is also known to venture into other hip-hop related subgenres as well. Rich considers himself a student of hip-hop, with influences spanning MC’s such as King Los, Royce Da 5’9”, Jay Electronica, Immortal Technique, Eminem, Ab-Soul, Mac Miller and Conway the Machine.
